Sparrowhawk
Been tinkering with this on and off for about a year but I reckon this will do for now. Called the Sparrowhawk and riffed from the wings of the Crusader jet. The front piece rotates so the craft can change from vertical to horizontal flight for planetary atmospheres.

Watch Prize
Those Imperials have eyes everywhere and our little outpost here has been spotted. Hopefully there has been no misbehaving on my part to alert the sensors of any interrogation droids.
In the meantime here is a little ditty, christened a watch prize, to say thank you very much for the watch.
If any one would like to see more of what the Empire, and a few other star systems are up to, then be sure to head over to:- galacticempire.org

Mantis 1
It has been an age since I committed to any modelling. I think I've had enough of a sufficient absence to step back into it with less trepidation and somewhat diminished woes. Whilst freely sketching I found enough intrigue in this crustacean looking concept and chose to explore it.
The painting was done to get a feel for it, I knew I was going to build additions but left that aspect out of the painting to freely design during actual construction. I know also that it is going to be a military green colour, but red just looked nicer for the painting.
I reckon the model is about 1:32 scale, meaning figures are about the height of the turrets. I'm toying with the idea of adding some rocket launchers either side of the head as well as some aerials and some wiring hooking into the aft of the weapons. Then perhaps compliment it with a little terrain base with some troops around it.
