Urban Hunt

This was a little test utilizing DAZ 3D's Safari Starter Set. I wanted to try something a little quirky and placed the animals in an urban setting. But to be honest I didn't have enough building backdrops so most of the shots are of a local public park.

Planet Matte

I wanted very much to attempt to learn and improve at methods of making a basic planet. Though quite generic and basic, I felt quite encouraged by the results of this render.

Les Paul

June 9, 1915 – August 13, 2009

"He is the Godfather of the electric guitar. Inventor of multi-track recording, overdubbing, reverb, and echo. Architect of Rock N" Roll.
Music as we know it would literally not be possible without the recording processes he pioneered.
His virtuosic playing, and the mythical Gibson electric guitar that bears his name, inspired the legends of the rock & roll revolution."

Core Magellan

I'd never modeled a car before, this was an opportunity to give the process a go. The imaginary Core Magellan.

T-800

I think this is the Horizon kit, although I can't be certain.
I obtained it from a friend who was having a clear out, so it came mostly built, I just added a few pieces here and there, lit up the eyes and repainted it.

Walter Cronkite visits ILM

Despite the ancient VHS quality, it is 1980 after all, this beautiful little gem of a clip has the late Walter Cronkite visiting ILM as part of the promotion for the release of The Empire Strikes Back. It also includes a brief snippet of Disney's ACES system.
