An update to the Mantis build. These first three photos are of the basic build with a 1:32 figure for scale. Some tidying up was carried out on the main bodies disc as the previous incarnation was a little too loud and messy.
Next, some painted pics taken under room light, which gives it a sort of harsh contrast.
Lastly, one pic taken in daylight and shows the paint better.
I added some feet to the build, which probably loses the mild exotic nature of the design but it made sense overall to its functionality. I think I may also add some braces on the top section of the legs as well.
